Summary of Position

Under the general direction of the Director of Procurement for Strategic Contracting, or other designated supervisor, this highly-organized individual will support the University System of New Hampshire (USNH) in processing contracts efficiently through the contracts life-cycle. S/he will work collaboratively with the Procurement Services team, legal, IT, internal customers, and contractors to provide consistent processing of procurement contracts in accordance with USNH policies and procedures and good business practices.

Experience drafting and reviewing, a variety of procurement contracts at a medium- to large-sized and/or complex organization with focus on business terms and attention to detail

Strong organizational and process management skills

Excellent writing and proofreading with ability to write clearly to a variety of audiences

Strong technology skills including contracts software, Word, Adobe, Excel, presentation software, reporting software, and electronic communications

Able to work independently, effectively prioritize among competing priorities, and take initiative when appropriate

Experience in data analysis

Basic knowledge of accounting principles as they related to procurement

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Paralegal certification
Experience in higher education
Worked in decentralized organization
Experience in procurement sourcing and operations
