Summary of Position

Manage the daily operations of the department office, which is comprised of five programs of Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Outdoor Education and Leadership, Health and Physical Education and Sport Studies. Perform complex tasks including department course scheduling and the processing of undergraduate and graduate student records, printing reports from online applications such as UNH Student Banner or WebIntelligence, meeting a wide variety of academic and administrative needs of the department faculty, staff and students including assisting with general questions, providing direction to appropriate resources within the University and college, and coordinating department.

High school graduation. Five years of office experience or five years of specialized training or higher education or any combination of experience and higher education equal to five years. Knowledge of office practices, procedures and use of electronic equipment as required by department.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in computer software programs (word processing, spreadsheets) Familiarity with social media and online platforms. Associates degree or higher. Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Experience managing multiple priorities, initiatives, and functions.
Ability to manage projects and supervise work-study students.
