As a VP, Human Resources in the Enterprise Technology & Global Services (ETGS) organization, you will use your energy, business knowledge and ability to build and execute HR strategies to drive business results and enable Fidelity with a technology workforce that will positions the firm for growth. The ETGS team provides capabilities that have an impact on the growth and evolution of the culture, talent landscape and organizational framework. We enable the technology functions across Fidelity to partner effectively with business leaders to drive valued services for Fidelitys customers. This global HR team provides a balance of strategic partner alignment and a set of capabilities that ensure consistent and efficient strategies are used to improve the associate experience and talent capabilities of 15,000 technology and operations professionals. This role is based in North Carolina and may include travel within the US or to India and Ireland. The Expertise Were Looking For HR business partner experience supporting technology organizations or long-term experience in technology leadership roles with strong acumen in talent management is preferred. Proven success partnering with leaders in developing talent strategies Experience mentoring leaders to help them reach their own potential and their team's potential Experience standing up and living in an agile model is highly desired Product management or product team experience is strongly desired Ideal candidate has worked in HR or has experience leading a talent or organizational transformation effort Bachelor's degree required, additional study in aligned subject areas a plus The Purpose of Your Role This role gets immersed in the strategy of the organization and plays a leadership role to support the business in areas, such as workforce strategy, organizational design, talent management, compensation and retention. By working with one or more senior leaders, you will own the global efforts of a squad or a chapter area within the ETGS HR team. This will aid in driving the transformation of the HR function to provide consistency and efficient delivery of the capabilities. The Skills YouBring Proven success serving as a trusted advisor with senior level executives Experience in applying your HR, business or technology knowledge to specific needs of business partners. Demonstrating experience in influencing executive teams on implications of internal and external business trends and issues that influence talent or operating environments Strong decision-making skills and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment Ability to align your vision to execute on the delivery of capabilities Strong analytical capability to help translate workforce and delivery data into strategy, decision-making and business results The Value you Deliver Identifying and executing ETGS capabilities in alignment with firm-wide technology and operations strategies that support the ongoing transformation and growth of Fidelity Assessing and developing the progress of HR capabilities against metrics and achievements, and informing leaders on these results Supporting human capital strategies and decisions using workforce data, analytics, and partnerships with HR COEs and ETGS capabilities. Providing thought leadership to technology senior management to collaborate in crafting the structure, processes and ongoing development of our workforce today while positioning the firm to meet future demands for forward-looking capabilities.
