Ideal candidate would reside within the Northeast Region near a major airport What is expected of you and others at this level in Direct Sales for functional success Applies knowledge of the customer's business to develop optimal solutions Proactively demonstrates to the customer the defined value of partnering with Cardinal Health with a regular cadence, both pre- and post-sales, including building an onboarding and conversion roadmap for execution by account managers Collaboratively works with Cardinal field leadership & field sales team to leverage the entire Cardinal value proposition and to ensure smooth transition for optimal customer support Effectively negotiates & collaborates with the customer & colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes & to achieve consensus Builds & sustains relationships founded on trust with both customer & internal Cardinal shareholders to ensures customer satisfaction & loyalty Identifies & qualifies new sales opportunities & develops plans for introducing new solutions through collaborative relationships Accountabilities: Pursue new Prime Vendor & Product agreements Maximize license-to-hunt agreements for assigned accounts Grow assigned account profitability, specifically Exceed GP growth objectives Expand CAH brand mix opportunities, including products & services Drive deeper relationships with the customer to increase stickiness of partnership Lead non-acute sales coordination in acute IDNs with physician office opportunities Focus on profitable new business to increase CAH brand sales Collaborate & work with Emerging Solutions opportunities. Professional Experience, Qualifications & Attributes Bachelor's Degree required At least 3-6 years healthcare sales experience Ability to travel 50% of time Strong communication & organizational skills Proven market & product knowledge in business area Strong planning, forecasting, negotiation & presentation skills Leadership Essentials Thinks and acts strategically Has an enterprise perspective Is aspirational and confident Has personal courage and is resilient Willing to roll up their sleeves Focused on getting the right things done Cardinal Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
