Description

The Sales Engineer is responsible for demonstration, configuration and implementation of the CAMP integrated maintenance management platform. This includes the ability to support the maintenance tracking and management, shop floor execution and inventory management modules within the CAMP platform. The successful candidate will work closely with CAMP Field Service and Product Support teams to determine the best configuration of CAMP products to meet customer requirements.

The successful candidate will be able to review customer processes, identify gaps in the customer utilization of products and services and deliver increased utilization of available products and services to meet customer business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate customers business processes and align the best components from the CAMP platform to meet customer needs
  • Deliver system implementation services and consultation to ensure users are incorporating the software solution into their daily workflows, including training/workshops, creation of standard operating procedures, and/or holding workshops
  • Work closely with a team of Field Service Representatives by helping them identify best practices for reviewing and improving customer processes using the CAMP platform
  • Gather and analyze customer requirements to make recommendations
  • Visit customer sites to better understand their workflow and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop strong technical champions within existing and prospective customers
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience
  • B.S. or B.A. in engineering, business management, computer science or equivalent is required
  • Strong consultative skillset with customer-service mindset
  • Excellent problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to design customer solutions
  • Proven experience with software system configuration and integration
  • Proven record of working effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver customer success
  • Ability to listen/discover to understand customer business processes and assess related needs and to explain complex ideas in a simple manner
  • Experience with maintenance tracking (CAMP, CESCOM, Avtrak, CMP) and / or Service Center software (Corridor, Component Control) is a plus
  • Ability to travel 25-50%
